Our Story

Twenty years of altars, fire, and nations.

What began as a prayer altar in Jos has become a global family of intercessors, disciples, and altar-builders. Here are a few of the moments that shaped us.

2005

A prayer altar begins

Prayer Altar for All Nations (PAFAN) begins in Jos, Nigeria, after God works a notable miracle through His servant.

2010

Ablaze Global Ministry

The altar grows into a ministry with Saturday services in Jos; the ministry is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria.

2015

The church is born

The church arm — Ablaze International Gospel Centre (AIGC) — is inaugurated and registered with the CAC.

Today

Six nations & counting

Fellowship in Jos and Abuja, satellite centres in more than six nations, and a sister ministry — Ablaze Global Discipleship Ministry — in Lancaster, PA.

Meet Our Founder

“A house of prophetic fire, sent into every nation we’re called to.”

Apostle Lawrence Laniyi is the Founder & General Overseer of Ablaze Global Ministry and Ablaze International Gospel Centre, and President of Ablaze Global Discipleship Ministry in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

A minister, author, and humanitarian, his life and work weave together prayer, prophecy, and practical love — from the midnight altar, to the morning broadcast, to humanitarian work with the displaced.

We are raised as a house of prophetic fire — a people who carry the presence of God into every city and every nation we’re sent to.
